Who provides the service

BaanReady is provided by Decato, trading as BaanReady and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 93600410. Our public correspondence address is Hooimeijerlaan 10, 2991 WS Barendrecht, the Netherlands. For service questions, email support@baanready.nl. For privacy questions, email privacy@baanready.nl.

These terms apply when you create a BaanReady account or use the service. During registration, we ask you to read and accept the current version.

What BaanReady provides

BaanReady helps you build a career profile and use it to create vacancy-specific CVs, cover letters, application answers and assessments. Depending on your plan, you can save, edit and download applications as a PDF package.

BaanReady is a support tool. We are not an employer, employment agency, recruiter, legal adviser or career guarantee. A match score and assessment are supporting analyses, not objective hiring decisions or guarantees of an interview, offer or job.

Your account

You use a valid email address, protect your password and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity in your account where you could reasonably have prevented another person from gaining access. Report suspected misuse immediately to support@baanready.nl.

You may use one personal account for your own applications. Commercial use for third-party candidates, resale, shared accounts and automated mass use require prior written agreement.

Information you provide

You confirm that you are legally permitted to use the information and files you provide. You enter only information about yourself that is accurate and true. Do not upload a Dutch citizen service number, identity documents, medical information, private contact details of references or other information unnecessary for an application.

You retain ownership of your material. While you use BaanReady, you grant Decato limited permission to process it to provide, secure and improve your BaanReady workspace. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

AI, review and responsibility

BaanReady uses AI to structure information you provide, analyse vacancies and draft documents. AI can make errors, misinterpret information or suggest unsuitable wording. BaanReady uses technical and editorial controls to prevent invented claims but cannot guarantee that every output is error-free.

Before sending, you always review names, contact details, employers, positions, dates, results, motivation, tone and fit for the vacancy. You send documents yourself and are responsible for the final application.

Credits and revisions

In principle, one new generation uses one credit. Before purchase, the offer states how many credits you receive, when they expire, which daily limit applies and how many included revisions are available. That displayed product information forms part of your agreement.

An included revision is intended to regenerate the same application using added or corrected facts. Misuse, a materially different vacancy or an attempt to avoid a credit limit may be treated as a new generation. If a technical error produces no usable package, BaanReady attempts to release the reservation or restore the credit automatically.

Free and paid plans

Before ordering, we show the current plan name, price including VAT, contents, term, expiry date and any automatic renewal. Free requires no payment card. One-time plans and top-ups do not renew automatically.

Plus is a monthly subscription and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel Plus online in your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect no later than the end of the period already paid for, unless mandatory consumer law requires a more favourable result.

Mollie processes payments. BaanReady does not retain complete payment card details. A payment is complete only when confirmed by the payment provider and our administration.

Cooling-off period and refunds

As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period for an online contract. Statutory exceptions and rules for services or digital content may apply. If you ask us to start a paid service during this period, a legally permitted proportionate charge may apply if you withdraw. You lose a statutory right only where every condition for that exception has been met and you gave the required express declaration.

To withdraw, email support@baanready.nlwithin the applicable period using your account email and identifying the relevant payment. These terms never restrict rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Acceptable use

You must not use BaanReady to:

• present a false identity, experience, diploma or result;
• infringe another person's rights, privacy or copyright;
• process malware, harmful instructions or stolen data;
• bypass security, limits, payment controls or access systems;
• scrape, reverse engineer or automatically overload the service;
• support discrimination, fraud, harassment or another unlawful purpose.

We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, investigation, legal compliance or stopping abuse. For an ordinary breach, where reasonable, we first provide an explanation and an opportunity to remedy it.

External services and files

External websites and services have their own terms and privacy rules. You may download a CV or profile file yourself and then upload it to BaanReady. Check that you may use the file and that it contains no unnecessary private information.

BaanReady does not offer LinkedIn sign-in or direct import and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, outages, providers or internet problems may affect availability. We may change or discontinue features where needed for security, law, quality or a provider change.

For a material adverse change to a paid plan, we inform you in advance where reasonably possible. Mandatory rights to remedy, price reduction, termination or refund continue to apply.

Intellectual property

BaanReady, its software, design, trade name and original example content belong to Decato or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence while complying with these terms.

To the extent permitted by law, you may use and edit documents generated for you for your own applications. This does not grant rights to our software, prompts, security methods, templates or third-party material.

Liability

Decato is not responsible for an employer's choices, a lack of response or loss arising solely because you sent a visibly incorrect draft without reviewing it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by mandatory law, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness where the law does not permit such a restriction.

Report a problem promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remedy it. Consumers retain all mandatory rights relating to a defective digital service.

Cancellation and account deletion

You can cancel a subscription online and delete your account on the Privacy and data page. Account deletion cannot be undone. Financial records required by law may be retained for the statutory period after account deletion.

We may terminate an account for serious or repeated breach, fraud, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where possible, we explain the reason and any opportunity to export your data in advance.

Complaints, law and changes

First email a complaint to support@baanready.nl. We try to find a reasonable solution together. Dutch law governs the agreement. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protection in the country where you normally live, and the court with statutory jurisdiction remains competent.

We may change these terms because of new features, law or necessary business changes. For a material change, we publish a new version and ask you to accept it before continuing to use the workspace.
